We are Troop 9067 out of St. Paul, MN. We have three crews totaling 24 spots. 14 spots are filled by our troop, 6 spots are filled by scouts and adults from other troops, and we have 4 open spots. We have one female leader (in addition to four male leaders) and thus far the scouts are all male and a variety of ages. For our four open spots, we are looking for at least least one but preferably two adults. Also, we’d like one of the adults to be CPR trained and/or Wilderness First Aid trained, but that’s not a hard requirement. If you are a scout traveling without a parent, reach out to me and I’ll put you on a waiting list. The cost is $1200 per spot, which is the amount that we’re charged by Sea Base. (We’re just trying to break even.) The adventure is from August 11 to August 17. We can provide ground transportation to/from the Miami airport if your arrival times coincide with ours. In this case, you would pay your equal share of the ground transportation costs (about $100 per person, round trip). This adventure sleeps in the air-conditioned dorms, which is a big plus from my perspective.
