Each Traditional Pre/Post site includes use of our traditional, dome tents so you don’t have to pack any (we will provide enough for YPT needs and Scouting’s Barriers Against Abuse). This option is best for larger/ more complex groups because we can easily divide between tents. We will also provision breakfast/lunch/dinner and provide cooking/eating utensils.
If you do not have a sleeping pad on your packing list for your adventure, you will need to pack one or can rent a NEMO bed pad from us for $5 each.
Each site accommodates up to 4 people.
Pre/Post Deluxe is a new, glamping tent option available only during the Summer exclusively to Sea Base High Adventure Crews at Camp Jackson Sawyer. The tents have air conditioning and electricity. The tents only have one format (see below for description). This can be difficult to properly divide a complex group without needing multiple deluxe tents. We will provision breakfast/lunch/dinner and provide cooking/eating utensils. Linens are not provided, you will need to pack your own per your adventure’s packing list as shown in the participant guide.
The main room has 3 bunk beds and there is a side room with 2 bunk beds (allowing you to split 6 and 4, accommodating up to 10 people).
Pre/Post Premium is a new, hotel option hosted at Hampton by Hilton near Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or Miami International Airport (MIA). Book through us for special pricing using the button at the top of this page. Each hotel has complimentary shuttle service to/from the airport, hot breakfast, an outdoor pool, and a fitness center. The Pre/Post Premium rooms each have two Double Beds with a microwave and fridge. There are numerous restaurants located nearby both locations.
Each room can potentially accommodate up to 4 people depending on sleeping arrangements.
- Camp Jackson Sawyer has individual indoor bathroom and warm shower facilities and a Ship Store.
- The bookings online are done BY SITE, so if you enter a total number of adults/youth greater than what one site is able to accommodate, you will not see any options to book.
- Please book enough rooms/tents to accommodate your group based on Youth Protection needs and Scouting’s Barriers Against Abuse.
- Transportation is not included in the cost.
- Hotel Bookings are solidified within 40 days of arrival and cannot be cancelled or refunded.
